I've had this mount for about 13 months. It always felt somewhat fragile, but it worked. Recently I removed the mic from the mount to use it for something else, then re-inserted it. As I did this, the base of the mount broke from the part that holds the actual mic. I was pretty disappointed to see that the connection between the base and the rest of the mount was not nearly as sturdy as I thought it was.

    Very well built, holds my Sure mic nice and snug. It came missing one of the screws that hold the support rod the the wind screen however. I reached out to the manufacturer about getting a replacement and was told that it wasn't a stock item and to sent it all back. Sorry but that's crazy. Take a screw out of a complete unit and send it to me instead of paying all that postage and spending all that time getting it back to me.

    I guess I'll have to get one from the hardware store next visit.
