Podcast Promotion – You Need More Than iTunes

Thanks to Daniel Johnson Jr for the tip on the Seth Godin blog.This blog talk about  appreciating your audience, and being a big fish in a small pond.

I recently launched another podcast, and I have purposely not promoted it. I only uploaded it to iTunes. I have about 15 downloads per episode after two months. So if you think “All I have to do is get it into the iTunes podcast directory and I will be famous, YOU’RE WRONG. It takes great content, and constant promotion to get the ball rolling.

Two Bucks Themes – Inexpensive Theme Music

First things first, this site costs more than two bucks. It’s actually 10, but you get FIVE short themes per month. It’s ran by Mike Stewart the “Internet Audio Guy” who will be helping out on Podcast Secrets 2009 along with myself and many other Internet consultants.
