With an 80% price increase, if you're a live streamer, you may be looking for some Streamyard alternatives. Streamyard will automatically apply that price to existing subscribers next month. The price has moved from $25 to $44.99 a month. I used Streamyard for years to produce the Ask the Podcast Coach before switching to Ecamm Live.
Here are some Streamyard alternatives:
Ecamm Live
Ecamm Live starts a $20 a month. This is a great tool that really let's you customize the look of your video, and create scenes for different situations. I use a Streamdeck to switch scenes, which is like adding a director to your one-person setup. There is a bit of a learning curve because there is no other software like it. If you want separate tracks (like Streamyard provided), you need the pro plan for $40/month. The prices drop to $16/32 if you purchase a year. Ecamm only works on a mac. Check it out.
EvMux
Evmux combines the simplicity of Streamyard with the premade scenes of Ecamm (and it works on all computers). Prices are $25/$49 a month or $19/$39 a month if you purchase a year. EvMux has lots of built-in features. One feature lets you talk to the people on screen with you without having it go out to the public. People in the green room waiting to go on screen can talk with each other. It also makes it easy to collaborate with a cohost as it's web-based (where Ecamm is not). Check it out.
Boomcaster
Boomcaster does give you separate tracks and all the other tools you are looking for (customize colors, logos, overlays, etc) much like Streamyard. Boomcaster is a pay-as-you-go with prices starting at $20/$17 a month for five hours of streaming. They have plans if you need more time (or pay as you go). They also have a noise-canceling option to clean up the audio. Check it out.
Riverside
I got a demo of Riverside at Podcast Movement, and it looks impressive. Their first plan is $19/$15 month and an additional $15/$10 month (for a total of $34) if you want to livestream. If you're looking for a streamyard replacement, you want that live streaming option. Riverside has tool to help clean up the audio and remove “ums” in postproduction. Riverside has a lot of post-production tools to help you edit the video instead of exporting it to a separate program. Check it out.
Restream
I used Restream when I worked at Libsyn, and it was easy to use. They have an interesting feature where you can generate QR Codes to put on the screen. You can stream to three sources on their $16/month plan. If you're looking for the lowest-priced option, this would be it.
All of the above systems offer some trial, so you can test them out and choose the one that is best for you and your situation.
