I read an article by Leslie Thompson titled, A reflection on 5 years of podcasting, and it really moved me. It points out that even if you end up ceasing to produce your podcast, the time is not wasted. It may feel that way, but Leslie shares how her time on the Rogue Ones podcast was not a waste of time and she has used her skills in other projects including her new show Niche to Meet You.

If You Quit Your Podcast You Take Your Skills With You
Leslie has skills in recording, editing, graphics, web design, interviewing, and more. So you may feel if you decide to quit your show, you're not leaving empty-handed. You also have one of the biggest benefits of podcasting which is the relationships. Leslie got to interview a sled dog racer, and that led to her being able to participate in a race.
Relationships lead to opportunities. When you take advantage of the opportunities, they lead to more relationships.
