  1. Great episode and I agreed with most everything you and Glenn said…. EXCEPT the point about Facebook ‘Private’ Groups.

    It is truly scary hearing about audience members pouring their hearts out or exposing their deepest secrets via a service that is anything but private. (This isn’t just a podcaster problem. I’m a member of a support group for Christian apologists, and I’ve expressed the same concerns to them.)

    There are other solutions. They are more work and will take more coaxing to get audience members to join. But, you’ll have the peace of mind, knowing their personal thoughts and deepest secrets aren’t being monetized, abused, and sold. And, if they (Facebook) currently aren’t (ie. Facebook is being honest about the ‘private’ in private groups), it is just a matter of time.
